Stylized Wedding Session in Edmonton
First of all, thanks sooooo much to the amazing creative team who I had the honour of working with for this shoot! It was such a blast to work with you all.

MUA: Asia O Makeup Artistry
Florist: Liseann Foreman owner of Agora Floral Co. @agorafloral
Rentals: Something Borrowed
Dress: Urban Bride
My fellow planner: Elishya Marie Photography
In this shoot I teamed up with another photographer and we planned the whole thing together. Even though there was still snow on the ground, we wanted to go with something fresh and fun for spring. We figured we would go for the boho vibe with some bright pink, purple, and a touch of gold. We hoped that colour scheme would make the brown grass look a little bit more springy; and it totally worked. We told the florist our ideas and, with her input, we were able to pull it off. She did an absolutely stunning job on the centre piece and bouquet! (She also made the boho flower crown and the boutonniere!!)
We teamed up with a rental company as well and had the opportunity to use some really beautiful pieces; like the gold candle holders above, the soft blush/orange rug (you'll see when you scroll down!), and the copper wedding arch with flowers (below as well!). I mentioned the brown grass earlier, which was the result of having a winter that lasted until April, and we were so worried that the snow would totally ruin our spring shoot... But it actually turned out so much better than we had even hoped. The brown tones in the grass made the colours we chose stand out and gave the whole session a really warm feel.
The bridal shop offered us this boho dress which we totally loved. It was flowy and reflected the free-spirited vibe that we were going for here. Not to mention our model pulled it off so well :)
We were also excited that our models were actually a real couple, because their chemistry could not have been replicated!!
Last of all, the location was perfect. We chose Snow Valley in White Mud Park, Edmonton (my friend's idea). It's definitely somewhere I'd recommend to people who are looking for good photo spots in Edmonton. It's gorgeous, peaceful, and was right there in the city; super easy to get to. The scenery is great for photos of all kinds, I would say this park is the equivalent of Fish Creek Park in Calgary (for all those Calgary folk reading this).
Anyways, I hope everyone enjoys looking at these photos!
